Senior Project Manager – Economic Development

Position Overview

Vanguard District Group is seeking a dynamic and analytical Senior Project Manager to lead our upcoming 2026 Commercial District Assessment cohort. In this role, you will bridge the gap between commercial data analytics and community-driven field research, working directly with local business owners, stakeholders, and municipal partners to compile comprehensive district profiles.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end execution of neighborhood corridor assessments and data collection timelines.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate virtual info sessions, workshops, and strategy meetings with community organizations and BDC representatives.
• Data Synthesis: Partner with our analytics team to translate raw survey metrics into functional, presentation-ready economic reports.
• Grant & Advocacy Support: Assist local coalitions in leveraging collected data to strengthen multi-million dollar grant applications.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in urban planning, economic development, public policy, or corporate project management.
• High proficiency in compiling demographic metrics, market analysis tools, and GIS software.
• Excellent public speaking skills with an ability to present data trends clearly to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Urban Studies, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
